Shiwandashan National Forest Park

Shiwandashan National Forest Park is located on the southern side of Shangsi County, Fangchenggang, and at the northern foot of the Shiwandashan Mountain. It is the best-preserved national forest park in terms of natural ecology along the southeast coast. The climate here is warm and humid, belonging to the monsoon climate on the northern edge of the tropics, with short winters and long summers. The annual average temperature is 21.2°C, which is comfortable and pleasant. The forest coverage rate of the park is over 98%, with more than 1,890 kinds of plants and more than 280 kinds of animals. There are national protected plants such as golden camellia and ten-thousand-year wood, as well as rare animals such as giant lizards and Cabot's tragopan. It is a natural "kingdom of animals and plants." The park has a rich variety of attractions. As one of the sources of the Pearl River, the Stone River has a valley of 6.5 km long, with gurgling water, streams and waterfalls along the valley, which is very spectacular. Tiannv Bath Pool is named after a beautiful legend, with clear pool water and beautiful surrounding scenery. There are also Nine Dragon Pine trees shaped like nine dragons, and Lion Mountain, which can overlook the Beibu Gulf and Vietnam. In addition, the park has a high content of negative oxygen ions in the air, up to 89,000 per cubic centimeter, and is known as the "forest ocean, natural oxygen bar", and was awarded the title of "China Oxygen Capital" in 2011. At the same time, the park has convenient transportation, about 100 km away from surrounding cities such as Nanning and Fangchenggang.
