This trip to Shangri-La brought the most delightful surprise—staying at Wuse Shangri-La Zhaxi Ranch. During the day, I followed a local guide deep into the mountains to forage for mushrooms. The guide patiently shared knowledge, teaching me about various fungi. As evening fell, the highlight arrived—roast suckling pig. Sitting together, laughing and sharing the feast, the atmosphere was wonderfully warm. The next morning, I rowed a boat on the tranquil lake. The mirror-like surface reflected the blue sky, white clouds, and distant mountains. With each gentle stroke of the paddle, ripples spread, bringing profound inner peace. The rooms were cozy and comfortable, adorned with Tibetan-style decor that showcased local charm. All amenities were provided, ensuring a restful sleep after a day of adventure.
