This immersive restaurant in Shanghai literally brings a MOVIE to your dinner table!

Can we just talk about this?! 🤯 I’m calling it: this is hands down the MOST stunning dining experience I’ve had all year. The whole 2-hour meal felt like starring in a sci-fi blockbuster that ended with an imperial feast. It's ¥1k+ per person, and every single second is worth the price. 📍 TASTE OF CHINA 味 🔍 B1/F, 270 Henan Middle Rd, Huangpu District (The Bund's Old Municipal Hall) ⏰ Lunch: 12:00-14:00 / Dinner: 19:00-21:00 💰 Dinner: ¥888-¥1088 (Remember to book in advance!) 🔥 Three things that blew my mind: 1️⃣ The High-Tech Tabletop Effects are INSANE Your table is basically "performing" the entire meal! The Lijiang River flows around your bowl as you pick up food, snow falls from the ceiling during the duck course ❄️, and you can even practice calligraphy, catch virtual fish, or compete in making dim sum. The tech vibe is maxed out! 2️⃣ Dining in Hanfu is a VIBE For ¥398, you get a full makeover with hundreds of costume options (Tang, Song, Ming, Qing, Miao... they have it all!). With professional hair styling and jewelry 💍, taking photos in this century-old building feels like actual time travel. 3️⃣ Every Dish is an Entire Production ▫️ "Brocade" Appetizers: A knockout start with 4 dim sum styles from the North, South, East, and West. ▫️ Mapo Tofu w/ Boston Lobster: Spicy, savory, and served with soy-skin-wrapped rice. I could have licked the bowl clean. ▫️ Starry Sky Rice Balls: Literally like eating the galaxy. 🌌 Breathtakingly beautiful. (Bonus: They pair each course with a different tea! Longjing, Jasmine, and Pu'er all make an appearance.) 💥 Hidden Easter Eggs: ▪️ The Sichuan opera performer will walk right up to you for a split-second face change! ▪️ The water sleeve dance and kung fu show are easily worth ¥300 of the ticket price. 👏 ▪️ Scan the menu and the AR panda chef, Cheng Baobao 🐼, pops up!
