Zhang Yuan 石库门 Pedestrian Walking Street

#chinatravel After visiting the iconic Starbucks Roastery Shanghai, I proceeded to walk over to the affluent Jing An area and captured the city sights along the way. I was fortunate to chance upon a new pitstop at 张園 along Nanjing West Road. This is very rustic historical walking street with original stone buildings and stone doors that were very well preserved and restored. The newly converted pedestrian walking street was interspaced with old infrastructure and modern cafes as well as super trendy boutiques, turning the old street into a very upmarket and Instagram worthy location. I was also thrilled to find international labels setting up outlets here. For instance, I stopped by at A-COLD-WALL* store, a label managed by BAO BAO ISSEY MIYAKE here in Shanghai and bought quite a few apparel from here xoxo If you happen to be around Jing An or intend to visit the famous Jing An Temple, you can consider clocking in at this street along the way ! #张園 #shanghai #石库门
