Amam Lon Bakery Town, a London cafe in the heart of Shanghai

#TravelEco  On this Shanghai trip, my friends and I stopped by Amam Lon Bakery Town, a lovely London-themed cafe on West Nanjing Road. It’s just a few minutes’ walk from Exit 4 of the subway station to the shop, which is decorated in warm tones, with floral-patterned tiles, classic wooden cabinets, and soft yellow lights, making you feel like you’re in a bakery on a street in London.  We ordered a rich, aromatic hot chocolate and a dense, creamy, and chewy pistachio bread. Another impressive menu item was the strawberry pie, which was sweet and sour, perfectly contrasting with the light cream on top. Every bite was pure happiness. The atmosphere in the shop is perfect for chilling out with friends, or you can come alone for an equally warm feeling. There are a variety of pastries and drinks to choose from, including croissants, cheesecakes, scones, and a truly English afternoon tea set.
