Review of riding the Maglev into Shanghai

Maglev is a high-speed train with a maximum speed of 431 kilometers per hour. It's not too far to walk and you'll find the ticket counter. 🕰️Opening hours: 06:45-21:42 💰Average price per person: 50 yuan or about 250 baht per trip. If you buy a round trip, it will cost 80 yuan or about 400 baht. 💸Buy tickets: There are 2 types: 1. Buy at the counter with the seller. 2. Buy from the automatic machine and scan to pay in Alipay (the second option does not have to wait in a long line.) 🚊Train schedule: The train leaves every 20 minutes. When you buy a ticket, there will be a place to sit and wait. The train platform will open before the train arrives. 💺 Actual speed: From the actual ride, the Maglev train will reach a maximum speed of about 300 kilometers per hour, or about 8 minutes from Pudong Airport to Longyang Road Station. The feeling while sitting is not very fast. ✅ Advantages: Fast travel, save time, get to try riding a world-class high-speed train, it is a good experience, few people, enough seats, not crowded, while normal trains may be crowded and not enough seats. ❎ Disadvantages: The price is quite expensive, 50 yuan compared to taking a normal train, which costs only 8 yuan, and you still have to transfer to a normal train into the city to your accommodation. 💞 Recommended reason: Suitable for people who have little time to travel, want to rush into the city before nightfall, but if you have time or want to save money, you can take a normal train. #TravelChina
