No reservation is required, just enter the park directly. 🌈Highlights: 🟣Most of the buildings here were relocated during the garden's reconstruction in 1974, retaining the original charm of each building while incorporating new garden elements, forming a unique blend of ancient and modern landscapes. 🟡The ancient wells, corridors, pavilions, and sculptures in the garden all tell stories of the distant past. This is not only an open-air museum but also a vibrant leisure resort where you can experience the weight of history while enjoying modern conveniences. 👍Recommended attractions: ✅Xingsheng Pagoda (Fangta): The most striking building in the park, originally built during the Northern Song Dynasty's Xining to Yuanyou years (1068~1094). It is a nine-story square brick and wood structure, 42.5 meters high, presenting the architectural style of the Tang Dynasty. It has survived thousands of years of vicissitudes and remains standing today. It was listed as a National Key Cultural Relic Protection Site in 2019. ✅Lanrui Hall (Nanmu Hall): A Ming Dynasty building. Although relocated from elsewhere, its nanmu beams and columns are still well-preserved. It now serves as a clean government education base. ✅Screen Wall: Built in the third year of the Hongwu reign of the Ming Dynasty, it was originally the screen wall of the Songjiang City God Temple. The brick carvings and relief work are exquisite, depicting patterns such as the Azure Dragon, White Tiger, and Gluttonous Beast, with profound meanings. It is an artistic treasure. ✅Tianfei Palace: Originally built in the ninth year of the Guangxu reign of the Qing Dynasty (1883), formerly known as Shunji Temple. It was relocated from the Suzhou River in 1980 and was once a sacred place for worshipping Mazu, the sea goddess, reflecting the ancients' reverence and dependence on the ocean. ✅Wangxian Bridge: A Ming Dynasty bridge spanning time. It is 7 meters long and 3.2 meters wide, and was an important bridge on the north-south main road in Songjiang City before the Qing Dynasty. ✅Chen Gong Ancestral Hall: A shrine dedicated to the memory of Chen Huacheng, originally built in the twenty-second year of the Daoguang reign of the Qing Dynasty (1842) and rebuilt in the thirty-fourth year of the Guangxu reign (1898). It was originally located at the end of Xita Lane in Songjiang District and was relocated to Fangta Garden in June 2000. ✅Helouxuan: A tea pavilion with a thatched roof, green brick floor, and moso bamboo pillars. Its name is derived from Liu Yuxi's "Loushi Ming" of the Tang Dynasty.
