On a chilly early spring day, a steaming hot pot of motsunabe is exactly what you need! When looking for food in Hongqiao, you have to find a popular Izakaya to enjoy some good food and drinks. This Kyushu Izakaya has been open for many years and is still going strong because the food is truly delicious, and it has a great late-night dining and drinking atmosphere. *Kohada* Sashimi So fresh! A must-try when you come here! Beautifully plated, the sashimi is tender and flavorful, with the unique aroma of *kohada*. Served with a bit of chopped green onion and ginger, it highlights the rich and fatty flavors of this winter catch. The pure, sweet taste of the deep sea is truly unforgettable. Sake-Steamed Clams Wow, the clams here are huge! I'm so happy! I rarely order this dish at Izakayas, but the sake aroma is so rich, and clams are high in protein and won't make you gain weight. These are truly the best I've ever had. My friend said they are large clams from Northeast China, tender and delicious, and you can't find them anywhere else. Motsunabe The constantly improved clear broth motsunabe has a rich yet not greasy soup base, with a mild taste.
