Shanghai has four aquariums, and Shanghai Changfeng Ocean World, located in Changfeng Park, was built in 1999. It is a comprehensive ocean-themed park that combines large marine animal performances and aquarium fish exhibitions. It is also one of the oldest ocean parks in Shanghai. After the closure of the beluga theater, Changfeng Ocean World is not very big. It is divided into four main exhibition areas.
