Museum in the Park | Minhang Museum

Minhang Museum is located at No. 1538 Xinzhen Road, Minhang District, Shanghai. It is a local comprehensive museum that officially opened on March 24, 2003, and is free to visit. The museum has three exhibition halls: the 700 Years of Shanghai County Exhibition, the Maqiao Culture Exhibition, and the Chinese National Musical Instrument Culture Exhibition, mainly displaying cultural relics such as stone tools, bone tools, and pottery from the Maqiao Culture period unearthed at the Maqiao site. Minhang Museum is also a patriotic education base in Shanghai and a national science popularization education base, with rich collections and diverse exhibitions. The museum has distinctive architectural features and an elegant environment. It is adjacent to Minhang Cultural Park, and there is also the Haipai Art Museum nearby, making it a great place for leisure, entertainment, and learning.
