Shanghai Sun Ke Villa.

Today, I will share an excellent historical building in Shanghai, the former residence of Sun Ke, the son of Sun Yat-sen, Sun Ke Villa. It was designed and built by the famous designer Hudec. It was originally for self-occupation and later transferred to Sun Ke, the descendant of Sun Yat-sen. Like other works of Hudec that influenced Shanghai, such as Wukang Mansion, Park Hotel, and Grand Theatre, it has a unique style and is worth seeing. It is a three-story building with a mix of Spanish and Italian Renaissance styles. The main building is Spanish style, with two gardens in the front and back, a gentle roof, red tiles, decorative cornices, and other Spanish styles; shell-shaped arches, pointed arch porches, spiral columns, fish scale-like exterior wall decorations... The main building adopts the Spanish style, and the details also have Baroque architectural elements. The red cylindrical tiles and exquisite cornice decorations all reflect the unique style of Shanghai architecture in the 1920s and 1930s. The villa has three floors. The first floor is distributed with a restaurant, kitchen, reception room, and study, and the north side is the functional area such as the secretary's office and conference room. The second floor has a living room and four bedrooms, a separate bathroom, and an indoor balcony. The third floor has a guest room, study, living room, and outdoor terrace.
