I'll stay at this hotel whenever I come to Shanghai! It's nice and affordable!

《Review of the Shanghai Marriott Hotel Riverside》 The Marriott Hotel on No. 25 Ningguo Road, Yangpu Riverside, opened in late October. I went there as soon as I could to check it out. 1. First Impressions The hotel was just renovated, so there was still a slight smell. The parking lot is small and not yet fully completed. 2. Room Experience The room was quite large, and I was lucky enough to be upgraded to a river view room. It faced the Yangpu Bridge, and the view was great. 3. Leisure Facilities The swimming pool is on the 5th floor. It's a standard 25-meter pool. There weren't many people, and the water temperature was just right. Swimming there was very comfortable. The executive lounge is on the 1st floor. Afternoon tea starts at 2:00 pm, and they currently offer soft drinks and juice. Dinner starts at 5:30 pm. Although the variety of dishes is not particularly rich, the taste is very good. In the evening, you can have a drink, such as vodka, whiskey, tequila, red wine, gin, liqueur, etc. There are also some small cakes and snacks to enjoy. Breakfast is also in the lobby bar on the 1st floor. There is a wide variety of food, and it is very rich and delicious. 4. Location and Check-in The hotel is a bit remote. The nearest subway station is more than 1 km away, about a 20-minute walk. I recommend taking a taxi. I checked in at the executive lounge. I arrived at around 1:00 pm, but I didn't get into the room until after 4:00 pm. I was told that the hotel was fully booked because it had just opened, and it took some time to clean the rooms. The executive lounge and breakfast restaurant are both on the 1st floor. 5. Room Upgrade and Breakfast It's relatively easy to upgrade to a suite here, which may be related to our high membership level. I stayed in a corner room on the top floor, and I could see the Oriental Pearl Tower in the distance. However, the breakfast variety was relatively small, with only some basic food. I didn't even have the nerve to ask the chef to make eggs benedict. 6. Overall Evaluation Overall, as a new hotel, there are still some areas where the service is lacking, but I'm looking forward to being surprised when I come back in the future.
