The beautiful night of the Qixi Festival at the InterContinental Shanghai Pudong

On the Qixi Festival, my partner and I chose the InterContinental Shanghai Pudong to spend this special day together. Overall, the experience had both surprises and minor shortcomings. As soon as we entered the hotel room, the spaciousness lifted our spirits. The room was warmly and comfortably decorated, with attention to detail, adding a lot of romantic atmosphere to our Qixi Festival. The hotel's buffet breakfast was very comprehensive, offering everything from Chinese porridge and noodles to Western bread and pastries, as well as a variety of fresh fruits and drinks. It catered to different tastes, allowing us to start our day beautifully. Speaking of the hotel's facilities, I was somewhat disappointed with the swimming pool. For children, the size of the pool was adequate, allowing them to play and have fun. But for adults, it seemed a bit small and not very satisfying for swimming. As for the service, I must give it a big thumbs up. From the warm welcome at the entrance to the thoughtful care during our stay, the staff always maintained professionalism and friendliness, making us feel at home. However, the takeaway service here was somewhat lacking. We had to go downstairs to pick up our orders ourselves, as there was no delivery service to the room, which caused some inconvenience. We also brought our own mini bottles of alcohol to mix drinks in the room, watching the women's table tennis team finals while enjoying our private world, adding a unique touch of fun to this Qixi Festival.
