As soon as you enter the hotel, you can smell the familiar Ritz fragrance. The domestic Ritz has the same fragrance, but the Japanese Ritz has different fragrances. As for why this hotel is called Portman Ritz, there is a story. After the reform and opening up, Deng went to the United States for a visit. After staying at the Westin Atlanta, he could not forget it, so he invited Portman (who was very special, an architect and a hotel owner) to open a hotel in Shanghai. Portman was invited to Shanghai later and actually opened a hotel, which is the Portman Ritz-Carlton. ** Guest Room The hotel has undergone a round of renovation, but it doesn't seem to be particularly ideal. The windows are very clean and well-received. The bedding is a stable advantage and also one of the sources of familiarity. The bathroom has a stronger sense of history. Double basins may not have been popular in that era, but the bathtub still shows the high configuration at that time. **FOOD There are a lot of breakfast options, regardless of whether they are delicious (the food is good). The richness is the best among all the hotels I have stayed in, including chocolate tart, honey, a wide variety of bread, desserts, and fruits, as well as a rich salad area. The location is excellent, the morning is quite rich, the service staff is very professional and has a good attitude, but the room is indeed a bit old.
