Shanghai! This budget hotel is absolutely stunning and made me cry with its beauty

Room type: Sapphire Deluxe King Room, over 2k for two adults and one child including breakfast. We stayed in room 01, which is the last room on the floor. The large area right after entering is a wasted space, so be cautious if you mind staying in the last room. Breakfast: It was the worst breakfast I've had at any InterContinental hotel, and the lunch was the same. Communication was poor at the entrance where people queued up, pushing and shoving. There weren't many options, and it was neither refined nor had any local specialties. Cleanliness: Overall cleanliness was good, the hairdryer was a Dyson, and I checked that the filter was clean inside. Service: There was a dedicated butler who contacted us even before we checked in. The response was timely and the communication skills were strong. Water temperature and pressure: The shower had enough water pressure and the temperature was appropriate. The drainage was good, with no blockages in the sink, bathroom, or bathtub. Features: The cliff show about 'Classic of Mountains and Seas' at 8:30 every evening was too good to miss, and there was also a water screen show in the hotel lobby every day. The Yu Huo restaurant offers a view of fish, and the hotel has a rich schedule of activities. Swimming pool: I heard it's quite small so I didn't try it. Conclusion: Close to Hongqiao Airport and worth a stay, but be cautious when choosing the Sapphire room type.
