The Peace Hotel in Shanghai.

The hotel was built in 1929, originally named Cathay Hotel, featuring Chicago School Gothic architecture. It was constructed by the wealthy British Jewish businessman Victor Sassoon, earning the reputation as 'The Number One Building in the Far East'. Upon completion, it became famous in Shanghai for its luxury, primarily hosting the financial sector, business community, and international celebrities. It is the first modernist building in the history of Shanghai's modern architecture. The second floor houses a museum exclusive to the hotel. The room layout is like the Bermuda Triangle; we felt like Liu Laolao wandering the streets, perpetually searching for our room. A once-in-a-lifetime experience is truly satisfying!
