Fuxing Park was established in 1909, originally known as Gu's Residence Park, commonly referred to as the French Park. It was primarily designed and constructed by the French, which is why the park's overall style and many of its layouts have a European flair. The most notable feature is the park's symmetrical layout, which is grid-like and patterned, featuring flowers, trees, pavilions, and ponds. Today, Fuxing Park has become an urban green lung, with over 1,700 ancient plane trees providing shade. Inside the park, there are attractions such as the Marx statue, the rose garden, a large lawn, and a fountain, and nearby are Sinan Mansions, Xintiandi, and Tianzifang... The INS Fuxing Playground, formerly known as the KTV, is now a nightlife guide for Generation Z, with nightclubs gathering. At two o'clock in the morning, it reaches its peak of energy.
