This small building was built in 1921 and was once the office building of EMI Records. The ground floor was used for recording and reception, the second floor was the editing room, and the third floor was the bedroom. On May 1, 2021, the newly renovated EMI Building opened to the public in the form of a themed exhibition. Inside the small building, there are special exhibition halls such as "Cradle of Records, Strong Voice of the Times, Gathering of Heroes, and Echo of History", which explain the history and origins of the growth of China's record industry in Xujiahui through documents and real objects. The Pathé Little Red Building was built in 1921 with the style features of the French Art Nouveau movement. It covers an area of ​​about 192 square meters and has a construction area of ​​480 square meters. It is a three-story brick and wood structure. It is called the "Little Red Building" because of its red tile sloping roof and red brick walls all around.
