Flower viewing in Shanghai | Wintersweet | Zhenru Park Zhenru Park is a small park on the side of Dadu River. During the plum blossom season, it is crowded with people because the park is mainly planted with wintersweets. Eight species of wintersweets from the Chimonanthus family have been introduced and propagated, among which the most distinctive ones are the American wintersweets that bloom red flowers in summer. Common varieties of plum blossoms such as the red plum are also planted. During the Spring Festival, Zhenru Park is holding the Wintersweet Exhibition titled "Dragons and Bamboos Dance Together to Create a World of Zhenru". More than 1,100 ground-planted wintersweets and 70 wintersweets in pots are in full bloom in the garden, attracting a large number of wintersweets admiring the flowers to come for the fragrance.
