The well-deserved Jing'an Shangri-La Hotel in Shanghai

For various reasons, I chose to go to Jing'an Shangri-La for relaxation and recuperation during this year's Dragon Boat Festival. I booked a two-night package with the treatment of the Deluxe Pavilion VIP Lounge, and of course, there is Shangri-La's snp. Recently, I have been overly obsessed with this group, for unknown reasons. The room was given a high floor above the 50th floor. The view when you open the door is a bit narrow, but the sense of space is quite spacious after a few steps down the aisle. The floor-to-ceiling windows overlook Nanjing West Road and the Jing'an Temple area. It's not particularly beautiful, but it's the first time I've seen it from the perspective of Puxi on a high floor. The hardware facilities of the room are not old. As one of the two flagships of Shangri-La in Greater China, the maintenance is very good. The shower room has a clear functional division, with dry and wet separation, and the amenities are the exclusive L'Occitane of the Deluxe Pavilion room. I ordered N sets during my stay through the app. Actually, I love the small green bottle more. The Deluxe Pavilion VIP Lounge shows the advantages of Shangri-La. The afternoon tea can be described as perfect, whether it's salty snacks like egg yolk zongzi, glutinous rice chicken, caviar siu mai, spinach shrimp dumplings, or sweet treats like scones, butter sliced bread, tiramisu, chocolate cake, etc., can satisfy different people's preferences. In addition to traditional drinks like coffee and soda water, there is also all-day supply of warm tea like in Nanjing Shangri-La. After a greasy feast, drinking a cup of Pu'er tea to cleanse, or drinking a cup of hot milk or osmanthus tea after a night workout, all make people feel comfortable and at ease. If there is a shortcoming, it is that HH is not as good as the canteen, all are fried foods. An old guest Uncle Le said: You (Jingxiang) are not as good as the China Grand Hotel. The latter is a five-meal-a-day pig-feeding luxury pavilion. I had the privilege of staying there once in 2021. Uncle, I support you. Because of long-term sedentary, I insisted on exercising for two days this time, although I just sweated a bit, but it's a good start. On the night before check-out, I wrote down my half-year plan in a corner of the Deluxe Pavilion. When I looked up, I saw the sunset on the cover, as if the rose-colored fuel was directly splashed on the clouds. I quickly recorded it with my mobile phone. Beautiful things and experiences often happen inadvertently. Life is hard, the pressure is huge, but who knows about the future? Just like the dazzling sight when you look up, who says it definitely won't appear in your journey?
