For a weekend stroll or few hours trip, you can visit Jingnan Park. The green area in this side of Shanghai is welcoming to spend your afternoon. Jingnan park is a popular spot for locals, either for children to go biking, jogging around it or couples spot to spend time together.
Green area is beautiful, open to the public. There’s a kindergarten and school nearby, as well as many housing complexes. Therefore, this park becomes a popular garden to enjoy a breath of nature near by.
Had visited this place couple years ago, for a small picnic with friends. However, on my visit today found the park closed due to renovations. I suppose the park will be even nicer once reopens. Nevertheless, the park being close doesn’t prevent many to jog/bike around the block. Even under the rain.
