The Cinque Terre are now world-famous and most of the villages are little gems. But I wanted to tell you more about less known villages like Portovenere which is honestly a very cute village and a little less touristic. If you are in the area, you should definitely visit Portofino, which is certainly touristy and a little bit fancy, but it is so beautiful and it is certainly the most beautiful place in the area. For your information I stayed in the small seaside town of Sestri Levante, which is located halfway between Portofino and Vernazza. Perfect to visit the region, especially as it is a lively village and frequented only by locals. #awesomepic #unforgettableexperiences #scenicspotguide #travelinspiration #instagramworthydestinations

Lago di Braies

Lago di Braies, (aka Pragser Wildsee in German and Lake Braies in English) is part of the Fanes-Sennes-Braies nature park, in a side valley next to the Val Pusteria. At an altitude of 1,496 m (4,908 ft), the 77-acre lake makes for a wonderful half-day trip while traveling through the Prags Dolomites. On the West side of the lake, there is a small chapel that was built in 1904. The location has a curious bit of history related to World War II, as has the hotel. It’s truly a beautiful lake, but has gained a lot of fame through Instagram and during the summer it can be filled with tourists. Choose wisely when to go (it is beautiful also in winter when frozen) and reserve online the parking of you are going by car or motorbike. #unforgettableexperiences #awesomepic #instagramworthydestinations #scenicspotguide #travelinspiration #urbanexplorer #summervacationtravel #springholiday #wintergetaway #tripaway

The University of Bologna, called “Alma mater studiorum - Università di Bologna” or shortened in UNIBO is the oldest university in the world. Although it existed before its creation in 1088, it is in 1088 that is was structured, hence founded, as an organised guild of students (hence studiorum), creating the modern concept of university and the first place of study to use the term universitas for the corporations of students and masters. Still to this day, it is one of the leading academic institutions in Italy and Europe. It is one of the most prestigious Italian universities, commonly ranking in the first places of national rankings. “Via Zamboni” has been made during the 19th century the Main Street for students as they can find many faculties and libraries but also cafes and pubs to enjoy the typical student life (movida). Many of the buildings are worth visiting and you might find some hidden museums and treasures. Otherwise, when in Bologna, just take a walk and stroll along the street and enjoy the vibe. #instagramworthydestinations #travelinspiration #awesomepic #uniqueexperience #university #unforgettableexperiences #bologna #urbanexplorer #scenicspotguide

Zhangjiajie National Forest Park

Zhangjiajie National Forest Park aka “Avatar Mountains” in Hunan province is one of the most beautiful spots in China and worldwide. 🇨🇳 The formations are so unique and the whole scenery is absolutely breathtaking, it really feels like out of a movie. ⛰ It is so easy to get to Zhangjiajie, there is an airport there and plenty of very cool hotels near the scenic area. 🍃 The park area is huge but there are buses included in the entrance ticket going to all the main spots. 🚌 There are also a few cable car rides you cannot miss because they literally take you within the gorgeous mountains. 🤩 Oh, and not to mention that Zhangjiajie National Forest Park is also home to the world’s biggest glass bridge, world’s highest bungee jumping and world’s highest and fastest outdoor elevator. 🌍 #awesomepic#scenicspotguide#travelinspiration#unforgettableexperiences#instagramworthydestinations#couplestrip#holidayvacation#wintergetaway#tripinspired

Small Lagoon

You’ve probably seen photographs of the stunning limestone formations around El Nido rising majestically above the turquoise water. It is one of the most popular destinations in the Philippines and for good reason, the nearby islands and beaches are absolutely stunning. So my partner and I decide to visit this amazing paradise to find out that it is indeed what many people says, where in fact it’s more than that and definitely exceeds our expectations. It was really an awesome trip and very worth it. I wish to comeback again here soon. #newphotographer#christmastrip#travelinspiration#merrychristmas#scenicspotguide#unforgettableexperiences#nyedestinations#instagramworthydestinations#couplestrip#awesomepic#wintergetaway#tripinspired#happynewyear

People in the Philippines like to celebrate Christmas for as long as possible! The playing of Christmas carols in shops can start in September! The formal Christmas celebrations start on 16th December when many people go the the first of nine pre-dawn or early morning masses. The last mass is on Christmas day. The Christmas celebrations continue to the First Sunday in January when Epiphany or the Feast of the Three Kings is celebrated. In the Philippines the early masses held before Christmas are called the 'Misa de Gallo' or 'Simbang Gabi' in Filipino. Most Filipinos are Christians with about 80% of people being Catholics. It's the only Asian country with so many Christians. Because of this, Christmas is the most important holiday in the Philippines. #newphotographer#christmastrip#travelinspiration#2019firsttravelpic#merrychristmas#scenicspotguide#unforgettableexperiences#nyedestinations#decembertravel#instagramworthydestinations#holidayvacation#wintergetaway#merryxmas#awesomepic

Coral Cove is a tiny bay with coarse reddish sand. The beach here is very clean: there are no bottles and old palm branches beneath your feet. On the left and on the right there are gigantic boulders growing right from the sand, like frightening guards, protecting an access to the bay from the sea. In glades between the boulders you can find hiding places to get away from strangers sight in this by far secluded oasis. The slope of the bed is quite considerable, the depth surges sharply, and you will be covered with water only within a couple of meters distance from the shore. G reat fans of swimming and deep sea should definitely like Coral Cove. It is exciting to swim here, and ten meters away from the shore you will reach a considerable depth. #newyearstrip#newphotographer#christmastrip#travelinspiration#givethanks#merrychristmas#scenicspotguide#unforgettableexperiences#nyedestinations#decembertravel#instagramworthydestinations#holidayvacation#wintergetaway#merryxmas#awesomepic

Thailand is one of the most popular travel destinations in the world. Twenty years ago it was considered 'daring' to travel to Thailand. Times have certainly changed. From the majestic five-star hotels in Bangkok to simple beach huts in Koh Samui or Koh Samet, accommodation choices are many. From the stunning plains and hills of the Golden Triangle to the wave-lapped white sand beaches of Phuket, Samui and Krabi, the kingdom radiates beauty. Thailand has so much to offer that one visit is never enough you'll want to come back and discover more time after time. #travelinspiration#merrychristmas#2019firsttravelpic#scenicspotguide#unforgettableexperiences#nyedestinations#decembertravel#instagramworthydestinations#deliciousfood#couplestrip#holidayvacation#merryxmas#awesomepic

Wat Phra That Doi Suthep

“a must visit golden place in Chiang Mai” I’ve been to Chiang Mai a couple times already but, I never even dare to visit this amazing, majestic and fascinating place - no words can even describe it. People that I encountered both locals and foreigners always told me "you've never been to Chiang Mai, unless you visited Doi Suthep Temple". And I think they're absolutely right. I'm glad that I overcome my laziness and visited this wonder. It never failed to amaze me and took my breathe away. The gorgeous Chiang Mai city view is superb, the Buddhist temple experienced is beyond, the weather is so perfect, side trips were awesome, it’s very unforgettable. I should've done this the first time I came here. #christmastrip#travelinspiration#scenicspotguide#unforgettableexperiences#mynovgetaway#awesomepic#instagramworthydestinations

Le Marais

Let me introduce you to my favorite part of Paris, the Marais. It breathes the real Paris, a little boo-boo maybe, but so beautiful.I like to lie down on the lawns of the Place des Vosges for hours, to stroll down the rue des francs bourgeois, to admire the church of Saint Paul Saint Vincent, to sit on a bench on the Place du Marché Saint Catherine. It is situated in a pretty, quiet square surrounded by cafés and restaurants. Then there is also the visit of some nice museums such as the Picasso Museum, the Carnavalet Museum, a museum on the history of Paris or the magnificent gardens of the National Archives. If you are a little hungry, go to the rue des Rosiers, the old heart of the Jewish quarter where you can taste the best Falafels in Paris. #awesomepic #unforgettableexperiences #scenicspotguide #travelinspiration #springholiday #instagramworthydestinations
