[Restaurant Tour #1] Apgujeong Tokyo Sirloin This is the Apgujeong branch of Tokyo Sirloin, a Korean beef restaurant located near Apgujeong Rodeo Station! It was nice to be able to enjoy a quiet meal with my group in a private room. What’s more, since we need to avoid contact with others as much as possible, I liked the fact that I could eat in the room the most. The space was clean and spacious, so I was able to enjoy my meal comfortably, and the servers were very kind, so I was able to have a great time! In addition, there was a clothing cover in the room to store my coat, so I didn’t have to worry about the meat smell getting on my coat. I was grateful because I could feel their meticulous attention to detail🥰 The appetizers weren’t as delicate as fine dining, but I could tell that they were trying to prepare the course with a lot of care to balance the flavors. The quality of the Korean beef was also satisfactory, and most of all, the staff prepared the main dishes, such as Korean beef grill and sukiyaki, so I was able to focus on my meal comfortably. [Sindangdong Tteokbokki Town🍡🌶] Have you been to Shindangdong Tteokbokki Town located in Shindangdong, Seoul? If you're Korean, you can't miss out on Tteokbokki!!ㅎㅎ This was my third visit, and I always eat delicious food whenever I go:) The Tteokbokki restaurant of Grandma Ma Bok-rim located at the very front of the alley was also very delicious, but the Tteokbokki restaurant of Deulgukhwa, which I visited for the first time, was also really delicious! They gave me a lot of service and the portions were basically large, so I ate until I was full!! 💚Sungkyunkwan, where the past, present, and future coexist💚 We visited Sungkyunkwan University located in Hyehwa-dong! The current Sungkyunkwan University is named after the past Sungkyunkwan, the best higher education institution in the late Goryeo Dynasty and Joseon Dynasty. As a school that carries on the tradition, the first thing you see when you enter the main gate is Myeongnyundang, where Confucian scholars studied in the past. Thinking about how hard students in the past must have studied, I felt a sense of connection with the East..ㅜㅜ🥲🥲 Myeongnyundang is an annex building of Sungkyunkwan, located right behind Daeseongjeon. The opening hours during the winter are 9:00-17:30, so if you want to visit, be sure to remember the time. I made two wasted attempts and was able to enter on the third try. ㅎㅎ There are two large trees between Myeongnyundang and Daeseongjeon. 🌳 Both trees are ginkgo trees, and they even have names. They are called 'Munmyo'. Those trees even have titles granted by the king. ㅋㅋㅋ The Confucian Shrine itself is a shrine dedicated to Confucius, so it is said that there is a Confucian Shrine in almost every place where people study Confucianism! 🍂🍁🍂🍁 If you go up through Daeseongjeon and Myeongnyundang, you can see the current appearance of Sungkyunkwan University. The first place you will see is the International Hall. The International Hall is most famous for its cats. Aren't the cats in the International Hall so cute? 🐱 If you come at night, be sure to visit the rooftop of the Law School. It is currently closed due to COVID-19, but if you go up to the rooftop of the Law School with a can of beer, the night view is really beautiful~ 🎆 I visited Sungkyunkwan University once because I missed my normal school life.
