Must-see palaces in Korea when you come to Seoul

I visited Gyeongbokgung Palace, one of the palaces of the Joseon Dynasty and the main palace of Joseon! Actually, I came to Seoul to stay overnight before going to Incheon International Airport! I want to introduce Gyeongbokgung Palace, the most famous palace in Korea, because it is so beautiful! 😉 It was destroyed during the Imjin War in 1592 and was left abandoned for 275 years[5] until it was rebuilt in the 19th century under the leadership of Heungseon Daewongun. At the time, it was reborn as a huge building with 7,000 rooms, but during the late Joseon Dynasty and the Japanese colonial period, thousands of rooms were demolished and sold, and other buildings such as the Government-General of Korea were built, causing significant damage to the palace. As of 1990, only 36 buildings (about 7% of the buildings during King Gojong’s reign) remained, and restoration is still ongoing. However, since there is a lack of information on the missing buildings, there is no guarantee that the recently restored buildings are the originals, and it is unknown whether we will be able to see the complete appearance of Gyeongbokgung Palace in the future. This is a brief history and introduction of Gyeongbokgung Palace! I'm so proud that they are still making a lot of effort to preserve our country's things 🥰 I hope you all visit there once and rent a hanbok nearby and take a picture of your life! That's it for now, I'll see you in the next post :) ✌️❤️ #Seoul #Gyeongbokgung #seoul #gyeongbokgungpalace

[Gyeongbokgung Palace: Our beautiful palace whenever you see it] Spring, summer, fall, winter🌸🌿🍂❄️ Our country's palaces are beautiful all year round. Among them, Gyeongbokgung Palace, the first palace of Joseon Dynasty, is the most well-known. That's why you could often see foreign tourists before COVID-19. These photos are of Gyeongbokgung Palace that we visited with foreign exchange students who participated in the buddy program on campus in the spring of 2019. At that time, the weather was bad, so I was sad that I couldn't show you all the beauty of Gyeongbokgung Palace. Looking back, even though it was a rainy day, our palace looks really beautiful with its original appearance❤️ #SeoulTravel #DomesticTravel #YouthTravel #Gyeongbokgung #Palace #Palace #Gyeonghoeru #Geunjeongjeon #Seoul #Korea #Culture #History #Tradition #seoul #korea #Canon200d #canon200d #200d
