Stepping into a piece of history

Seoul City Hall is a historic landmark dating from the Japanese colonial period. It has been preserved as a remainder of that darker historic period but also as a testament of Seoul and Korea's resilience and presrverance. Entry to the old city hall is free and actually there's a functional library inside. On the upper levels you'll find preserved rooms and details on their functions and history. It's quite interesting and informative and you can easily spend an entire afternoon roaming through its many rooms and floors. On the rooftop there's a lovely garden with very nice views of the city. There are seats there so you can definitely relax and admire the city from atop. #history
