Visiting the War Memorial with a heart that prays for peace

#WinterTravel #YongsanWarMemorial This is the Peace Square of the War Memorial located in Yongsan. Surrounding the circular square, there is a UN Memorial and a national flag. It was a time to express gratitude to the young soldiers who died in the name of the UN forces even though it was a war that took place in another country. There was also a monument to the fallen soldiers of the Korean War in the corridor leading from the main building. Looking at the numerous names, I thought again about how tragic the war was and that such a war should never happen again.
