I wanted to climb Inwangsan Mountain. This is thanks to the fact that a place that was used as a military outpost at the foot of Inwangsan Mountain for over 50 years has been transformed into a shelter and bookstore for citizens and opened to the public. (Photo 1-2) Inwangsan 3-minute rest area Inwangsan Shelter, scheduled to open this month, is a stunning piece of architecture that you would only see in foreign interior design magazines. The space is expanded horizontally on the glass exterior walls, creating a panoramic view of the cool Inwangsan Mountain and the green forest. The concrete pillars and roof that support the building remain the same, but the interior is built primarily with wood, adding a cozy atmosphere. (Photo 3-8) Inwangsan Choso Bookstore The Forest Choso Bookstore, The Forest, also boasts a wide open view and has become a favorite spot for many people, including local residents. While most cafes are mainly visited by the younger generation, the sight of the elderly people gathered in small groups and having a good time at The Forest Choso Bookstore was especially heartwarming.
