🇰🇷Seoul | Best solo dining experience 🍗🍝

Eating alone in Seoul? You’ll be just fine. I went out and tried a few places that are ideal for eating alone — no awkward vibes, no questions asked. Just good food, peaceful settings, and space to enjoy your own company. 1. Gogitbar 고깃바 🥩 I wanted to experience Korean BBQ without dragging along a whole group — and this place makes that totally possible. It’s specifically designed for solo diners, with individual booths and personal grills. Each seat has a tablet for ordering, so you can choose your cuts of meat, drinks, and sides without needing to speak. The vibe is low-key and focused — just you and the sizzle. Address - B1, 37-17 Yeonmujang-gil, Seongdong-gu Price - KRW 16,900 Rating - 🌟🌟🌟🌟 2. Huoguo Lang 훠궈랑 🍲 It’s a hotpot restaurant that caters entirely to solo diners, so the whole setup feels natural and relaxed. The ordering is done via self-service kiosk at the entrance — simple, quick, and you won’t need to speak Korean if you don’t want to. The layout is clean and open, but never awkward. Everyone’s in their own little world, focused on their pot of soup. Address - 37 Ihwajidae-gil, Seodaemun-gu, Seoul Price - KRW 10,000 Rating - 🌟🌟🌟🌟 3. Rolling Pasta 🍝 I tried the Vongole spaghetti here — light, garlicky, packed with clams and flavour. It was a lovely surprise for under 8,000 won. Portions are decent, the seasoning is spot-on, and it comes out quickly — perfect if you’re hungry and solo. They’ve got counter-style window seats, which are ideal for lone diners. I had my meal facing the street, quietly people-watching without feeling like I was in the way. Address - 392 Samil-daero, Jongno-gu Price - KRW 7,900 Rating - 🌟🌟🌟 #seoulspots
