21 Years of Comfort in a Bowl — Hidden Porridge Gem in Hongdae!

#seoulattractions This Porridge Place Has Been Around for 21 Years 💁♀️ Their main branch in Myeongdong is super popular and always has long queues. This Hongdae location is a lot quieter, but also much smaller — there are only 12 seats total! We went on a Monday around 12 PM and still had to wait about 20 minutes. Some quick notes 📝 ▪️ Portion sizes are big! There were four of us and we all usually eat quite a lot, but we still couldn’t finish our own bowls. ▪️ Important: Each person must order one portion — no sharing allowed. ▪️ The kimchi octopus one had the strongest flavor. Personally, if I come again (especially for breakfast), I’d go for something lighter and less spicy. 🤍 Overall, they really know how to make a good bowl of porridge. If you’ve been eating heavy meals like BBQ or fried chicken for a few days, this is a great spot to reset with something lighter and comforting.
