Bulam Mountain. Rock Climbing? I Thought This Was a Hike

#summervacay So I decided to hike Bulam Mountain, thinking it’d be a nice forest walk with a cute little summit. Nope. This mountain came for my legs and my soul, but in a good way. The trail starts off pretty tame. Trees, birds, solid trail vibes. Then it suddenly turns into a rocky, hands-required type of climb. Like, I was fully using all fours at some points. Not complaining though, it was actually kinda fun, just caught me off guard. The views at the top are chef’s kiss. You get this wild panoramic shot of northern Seoul and beyond. I sat up there for way too long, just staring and snacking like I was in a hiking commercial. Also, the peak marker is iconic, had to fight for a photo with it. Bulam’s not the easiest, but if you like your hikes with a bit of drama and rock scrambling, it delivers. Just wear good shoes and bring your “I got this” attitude.
