House of Taste

The exhibition <House of Taste: Art in Life, Life in Art>, where you can see around 300 works by 70 domestic and international artists, from the works of art by master artists such as Kim Hwan-ki, Park Seo-bo, Alexander Calder, and Pablo Picasso to design furniture by Jean Prouvé and Finn Juhl, in a 'house' where the tastes of five personas are condensed This exhibition is being held by D Museum to commemorate its 10th anniversary, and presents houses filled with each persona's tastes and sensibilities, including a video director, a tea sommelier, and a chef. The characters set as personas have different occupations, ages, and interests, so the atmosphere of the space is different, and the intimate and dense composition makes it feel like you've actually come to someone's house, making it a pleasure to look at throughout the exhibition. In particular, while appreciating works and furniture that cross the boundaries between new and old, vintage and contemporary, you will have a time to once again feel the specialness of the encounter between the familiar space called 'house' and art.
