Take you to eat authentic Korean food at Namdaemun Market

Each shop has a signature menu, Kalguksu (Kalguksu), or handmade fresh noodles, thick and chewy noodles, served in a sweet and fragrant small fish soup. When we walked in, the auntie called us, so we could choose a shop. We chose a shop in the middle of the alley because there weren’t many people, so it was good to spread out the income. And we ordered • Kalguksu (칼국수): Handmade fresh noodles, soft and chewy noodles, served in a sweet and fragrant small fish soup. Often topped with fried tofu, seaweed, and sesame seeds. • Barley Bibimbap (보리밥 비빔밥): Barley mixed with glutinous rice, served with a variety of fresh vegetables such as shredded daikon, bean sprouts, and greens for customers to mix and match. • Naengmyeon (냉면): Cold noodles served as a side dish or sometimes included in a set meal, adding a refreshing touch to the meal. ⸻ 🥟 Next up is Kamagol Wang Mandu (가마골 왕만두), a famous Korean dumpling shop located in the middle of Namdaemun Market in Seoul. The shop is well-known among tourists and locals for its large dumplings (왕만두) that are densely packed and flavorful. Kamagol Wang Mandu offers two main dumpling flavors: • Kimchi Dumplings: A slightly spicy vegetable and kimchi dumpling. Refreshing and rich • Kalbi dumplings, Korean style marinated meat filling, mellow and fragrant with spices Each dumpling is large and tightly packed, making you feel full. The price is about 1,000 won per piece and 1,500 won for a steamed bun. ⸻ 🍢 Walked around and around and found a shop similar to oden, probably called o-muk. The o-muk skewers here are boiled in hot, clear, fragrant soup. There are many types to choose from, such as fish o-muk and meatball o-muk. It looks very delicious. My stomach can't handle it, but I'm determined to eat it. And don't miss it. There is a yellow sauce (I think it's mustard) that you have to dip it in. It cuts through the richness well. ⸻ ✨ Finally, walk around Namdaemun Market After filling up on authentic Korean food, we continued walking around Namdaemun Market.
