Hotel Location Matters in Seoul!

Hotel location is incredibly important when visiting Seoul! This time, I skipped the trendy influencer-recommended hotels and chose one close to the subway and near Myeongdong, making it super convenient for dining, shopping, and entertainment. No regrets—this place was a great value! It’s just a 10-minute walk to Myeongdong, and the hotel elevator directly connects to the basement level of Lotte Department Store, which leads to the subway station. No need to worry about the weather—so convenient! The area is packed with shops, restaurants, and street food vendors, so you’ll never run out of things to eat or places to explore. If you’re a shopaholic like me, you can book this place without hesitation. The rooms are decently spacious, clean, and well-maintained. They provide free drinking water and toiletries like body wash, shampoo, lotion, and body scrub. Plus, you can control the room temperature yourself! Just remember to bring your own toothbrush and toothpaste. Breakfast is a buffet with a wide variety of options, including both Korean and international dishes (even desserts). The taste is decent, so it’s worth trying if you don’t feel like heading out. The staff were warm and helpful. On the day we checked out, we originally planned to take the airport bus from the hotel entrance, but we were running late. The front desk staff immediately helped us book a car—extra points for their service!
