Gangnam District Illustration Exhibition: Medical Tourism Center

Unconsciously, it's my sixth spring in Seoul. Overnight, the wind has taken on a spring-like feel. I've also gotten used to spending my weekends finding a gallery to see an exhibition, have a coffee, and chat with friends. There are many mini-galleries or exhibitions held in Gangnam District. They last for a season or a week, and the themes are diverse. Many of them are free to view. THE VISU-ABLE STORY is composed of works by five painters: Jang Seok-woo, Jeong Ha-na, Lee Jun-hee, Han Ji-yeon, and Hwang Dae-yoon. I personally love Han Ji-yeon's work, which blends South Korean history and contemporary life into a theme. It's as if I can conjure up a novel from the canvas. Lee Jun-hee's work uses rough lines to highlight the power of movement, and the professional baseball theme is particularly well-arranged. I don't know when I got used to spending my weekends finding a gallery and having a coffee. Wandering among the works of different painters, my body seems to connect with the force of the painters' brushstrokes solidified in the paintings. New dance moves flow within me. PS: This exhibition is quite mini; you can finish it in about 30–60 minutes. Exhibition period: February 24–March 2, 2025, 10:00–18:00.
