It was the center of Hanyang Doseong (currently Seoul), the capital of the Joseon Dynasty for 500 years, and it is a place where kings of the past ran the government. It is still a famous tourist attraction representing South Korea. 1️⃣ If you take Subway Line 3 and get off at Anguk Station or Gyeongbokgung Station, you will see Gwanghwamun with its magnificent appearance. You can also watch a reenactment of the Joseon royal guard changing ceremony. 2️⃣ Gyeongbokgung Geunjeongjeon, where kings and officials of the Joseon Dynasty carried out state affairs, is located in the center. It is like the Taehwajeon of the Forbidden City in China. 3️⃣ There is also a Pumgyebi, a resting place for Joseon monarchs, and Gyeonghoeru, which is the background of the back of the 10,000 won bill. 4️⃣ Gyeongbokgung Palace is a place where the past and present coexist, and you can see the Joseon Dynasty's atmosphere inside, and the modern architecture of Korea from the outside as seen from the inside. 5️⃣ If you go out through the north gate of Gyeongbokgung Palace, you will find the Blue House, the official residence of the presidents of the Republic of Korea.
