If you need time to walk alone, Jongmyo

Jongmyo is a royal shrine where ancestral rites were performed during the Joseon Dynasty. It is nice to visit in any season because of its neat and quiet atmosphere, but if you need some time alone, I recommend taking a walk around Jongmyo in the winter. The branches of trees that have lost all their leaves stretch toward the sky, and the stone paths that seem to go on endlessly provide time for quiet contemplation.
