Seoul is good for the soul! 🇰🇷

Seoul is a perfect stop for any city lover, it is one of the most exciting cities in Asia and has something for everyone. Spending five days there was enough to take in the main sights of the city and have time to visit the Demilitarized zone an hour north of the city. Staying in the Itaewon district it is easy to access the city by metro, staying in that area gives you plenty of food and drink options. It’s easy to get to Seoul from the main airport and you can pick up a travel card that offers discounts for tourists, the staff are helpful and speak english but the machines only accept cash so be prepared (If you don’t have cash there is a bank in the train terminal) The city has lots of museums, galleries and historical places to visit and it’s worth doing them early as the city attracts many tourists. I did all the sites around opening time and had more comfort inside as they were not so busy, it’s also better if you’re wanting to take photos as you go along. The metro system is great but gets very busy in peak hours, so it’s good to have uber as a back up! For food Korean BBQ and Korean fried chicken is essential, along with street food at the main shopping streets in the evening.
