Hyehwa Restaurant, Changhwadang is a sweet taste

Today, I went to ‘Changhwadang’ located in Daehak-ro, Hyehwa Station, Subway Line 4😊 This place is known as a ‘house that makes good dumplings’, and it’s a very famous restaurant also in Ikseon-dong! I’ve tried to visit the Ikseon-dong site several times, but the wait was always long and I’ve failed.. I heard there’s a similar place in Daehak-ro, so I went right away! Fortunately, there was no wait at the Daehak-ro branch, so I went in and ate right away! When I went inside, it felt like I was at my grandmother’s house in the countryside..? The interior, the props, the overall atmosphere was old-fashioned and antique, not like a snack bar, but like a Chinese restaurant..? Assorted dumplings - 10,000 won, tteokbokki - 7,000 won, shrimp wonton noodles - 9,500 won, Sprite - 2,000 won, so I paid a total of 28,500 wonㅎㅎ Assorted dumplings (2 meat, 2 kimchi, 2 charcoal, 1 shrimp, 1 crunchy pepper) Taste rating: ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ They were really delicious👍🏻 Especially the crunchy pepper dumplingsㅠ I really want to eat them again! Many people think that the pepper dumplings will be spicy, but not at all! It's not spicy at all~ There's plenty of meat inside, and the distinct scent of peppers is strong! The shrimp dumplings also had a whole shrimp in them 🍤 It's filling! This was also delicious! The charcoal dumplings tasted like rib dumplings! They're meat dumplings, but they're a little sweet? Tteokbokki Taste rating: ⭐️⭐️⭐️ The tteokbokki was spicier and sweeter than I thought! And the rice cake is chewy, beyond chewy - there's a snack on top, which I liked the most👍🏻 The crispy and chewy rice cake goes well with the texture🙃 And the fish cake is cut long like noodles and put in, so I'm satisfied because it feels like eating rice cake! Shrimp Wonton Noodle Flavor Rating: ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ It tastes like rice noodles! The noodles are rice noodles! There are 4 shrimp wontons inside! I thought this was so delicious!
