Hong Kong, Xiong Mao in Seongsu-dong

Seongsu-dong offers a world-class culinary journey. My favorite restaurant is Xiong Mao, located in a small alley. I recommend the fish-flavored eggplant and mala ragu rice bowl. I was surprised by the distinctive Hong Kong flavor, but the balance is perfect for Korean palates. The crispy fried eggplant and soft rice bowl go perfectly together. The accompanying dried pollack and kaoliang liquor highball is also delicious. Be sure to try the kaoliang liquor highball, not just the sake highball. It pairs perfectly with food! Only about 10 people can enter at a time.
