Seongsan Ilchulbang

Seongsan Ilchulbong is probably the next most famous hiking area after Hallasan. The climb up is not long about 30-45 minutes but the steps are steep. This place use to be a volcano about 5000 years ago and have been featured by a lot of films and dramas. At the peak you will see the amazing side of geography because this place use to be a separate island! But over time the build up of sand and soil has made it become one with mainland. It is said that many people wakes up early in the morning to catch the sunrise here. #gohiking
