Sojeongbang Waterfall and Castle of Shell

#September's Best Spots 2025 Sojeongbang Falls is located about a ten-minute walk from Daejeongbang Falls. Free parking is available if you're driving. While not as spectacular as Daejeongbang Falls, it's free. You can get very close to the waterfall, making for great photos. You can also hike to the rocky beach for a unique experience. On the way, you'll pass a unique building with an outdoor staircase leading to the second floor. It's a great place to take in the sights. Castle of Shell, thought to be a cafe, is a bit mysterious. It's actually a library, not a cafe, and doesn't sell coffee or drinks. However, you can relax with free books on display and use the restrooms while gazing at the Seogwipo Ocean. If your feet get sore from walking the trail, take a break while gazing at the ocean.
