The world's first kaleidoscope museum

🌈Highlights: The Sendai Kaleidoscope Museum is the world's first kaleidoscope museum. It displays kaleidoscopes made by Teruko Tsuji, a famous Japanese ceramic artist, as well as various types of kaleidoscopes with excellent optical effects from around the world. Exhibition halls 1 to 3 display a large number of precious kaleidoscopes, including unique works and the world's brightest works. On the second floor, you can touch the kaleidoscope and experience the mysterious world of kaleidoscopes. 🚗Transportation: Take a bus bound for "Akiu Onsen, Akiu Otaki" from Sendai Station Bus Terminal No. 8 and get off at "Matsuba" Station. 👍️Introduction: ❤Exhibition Hall 1 displays about 20 unique works, mainly large kaleidoscopes, which you can touch and move while viewing. Although photography is generally prohibited in the museum, the first exhibition hall displays kaleidoscopes, where you can take commemorative photos, as well as works that can be photographed. *Kaleidoscopes with blue camera marks can also be photographed at other locations. ❤Exhibition Hall 2 displays precious antique works inherited from Cozy Baker, known as the "Mother of Kaleidoscopes," to works by contemporary artists. The exhibits have a historical feel, including the kaleidoscope of Sir David Brewster, the Scottish physicist who invented the kaleidoscope, and the work of Charles G. Bush, the first to use oil ampoules as objects. ❤Exhibition Hall 3 displays about 30 kaleidoscopes, including kaleidoscopes that move with water created by popular artist Durette, display cases that are kaleidoscopes themselves, and kaleidoscopes that can be touched and moved. The base can be viewed from different angles, making it easy for everyone from children to adults to use.
