Mount Merapi Jeep Tour

#thingstodo Mount Merapi is an active stratovolcano located on the border between the province of Central Java and the Special Region of Yogyakarta, Indonesia. We took a jeep trip which was educational and entertaining. The mount merapi is majestic and you get to see smoke and hot larva now & then. We had the chance to enter the abandoned bunker. It was an interesting tour up to the bunker which once was a bunker which was used previously for villagers who had no time to escape the eruptions. There are some souvenir shops and street food like bakso around.
