Mysterious waterfall basin and torii gate (Iwamon Falls, Seki City, Gifu Prefecture)

I went to Iwamon Falls (halfway up Mt. Tarobei in the Horodo Kurodani area, Seki City, Gifu Prefecture), which is about 20 meters high! The rare combination of the waterfall basin and the torii gate was beautiful. On the right side of the waterfall is a rock gate (third photo) that is 10 meters high, 10 meters wide, and 7 meters deep, so it is called "Iwamon Falls." However, it is difficult to get close to the rock gate, so it is in the back on the right side, although it is a long way away. In the late Kamakura period, Acala was enshrined under the rock gate, and it seems that people often practiced training by being hit by the waterfall. I slipped and fell into the waterfall basin, but it was too cold. .
