#summervacay When I'm snorkeling, and the captain tosses bread into the water, being instantly surrounded by countless small fish – it's genuinely so much fun! And when hunger strikes, you can simply drive your Seabob to a nearby island and have the restaurant send a speedboat to pick you up. Private boat charters are absolutely the way to experience Italy! The "jelly sea" is truly addictive; every summer, I just want to head straight for the Mediterranean. Four years ago, during an economic boom, we rented a 71-foot Princess yacht for a week-long island hopping trip in Greece. But these days, who isn't looking to cut down on spending? For our day trip to Sardinia, Italy, we chartered a 40-foot Antares 12, which was perfectly sufficient for two of us! I have to say, chartering a private boat is the only real way to explore the Mediterranean! It offers incredible freedom in terms of time and location. For example, we absolutely loved La Maddalena and couldn't resist spending two full hours there. In contrast, we just had a quick swim in Golfo Aranci before turning back, with absolutely no itinerary constraints.
