It's a place to learn about the history of Sapporo beer, along with Japan's pioneering history. Even beer, as simple as it is, carries political significance and has a profound impact on history. It's free, and the Korean language explanations are excellent, making it a must-see. Be sure to try the inexpensive tastings offered downstairs. 2) Former Nagyaama Residence/Mitsubishi Mining Dormitory ———————— Address: 〒060-0032 Hokkaido, Sapporo, Chuo Ward, Kita 2 Johigashi, 6 Chome−２ Opening Hours: 9:00 AM - 10:00 PM Admission: Free ————————— This space, a collection of old buildings, has been transformed into an exhibition space. The interior depicts the rise and fall of the mining industry, which coincided with the development of the country. Separate from these exhibitions, the interior of the building from the Showa period is faithfully recreated. Unlike other buildings, the tatami room is freely accessible, making it a perfect photo spot. There's also an indoor library, meeting rooms, and a cafe, making it a great environment for extended exploration. It's located right next to the Sapporo Factory, but many people miss it, so we recommend making this your chance. 3) Sapporo Factory ———————— Address: 4 Chome Kita 2 Johigashi, Chuo Ward, Sapporo, Hokkaido 060-0032 Hours: 10:00-20:00 ————————— As expected, this shopping mall utilizes the former Sapporo Beer factory building. It's famous for its large exterior windows, terraced architecture, expansive grounds, and diverse lighting displays. With its numerous restaurants and shops, it's a great place to spend your time, or you can simply relax and enjoy the lighting displays at the famous Nijokan. With its beer-shaped elevator and various events and exhibitions, it's a new experience every time you visit. Since it's a shopping mall, it's easy to browse casually, so visit often. Of course, you'll inevitably end up spending money. Why not try to minimize your budget? Constraints always inspire creativity!
