#Shimabui Coast #Shakotan #Sea Urchin This morning, after renting a car from Sapporo, we headed straight for Cape Kamui. The forbidden area was closed due to strong winds, so we left disappointed and drove to Shimabui Coast. As soon as we parked, we headed straight for Rinko Restaurant. From a distance, we saw a group of Japanese women heading to the same destination. To avoid waiting forever, we sprinted to the entrance to register. Luckily, we only had to wait for three groups before it was our turn. The menu mainly features various sea urchin rice bowl combinations, as well as various seafood bowls and set meals. The seafood bowls are truly amazing, with every item so fresh. It's a shame they don't serve with rice, but Japanese white rice is incredibly delicious. The sea urchin was highly praised, with a sweet and smooth texture that made it so tempting to eat again and again. No additional seasoning was needed; simply savoring the sea urchin's natural flavor was truly captivating. After a hearty meal, take a stroll to the nearby lighthouse and the Shimabui Coast, accessible via a small tunnel. Shakotan is truly a wonderful place, offering both beautiful scenery and delicious food!
