Maruyama Park is one of Sapporo’s most popular spots to enjoy cherry blossoms. Around 160 trees, including the Sargent’s cherry and Yoshino cherry species, bloom, turning the park into a carpet of pink. Around 1,400 cherry blossom trees bloom alongside 250 plum blossom trees.
