Hokkaido Shrine and Kaitaku Shrine in winter

On the way from Maruyama Park to Hokkaido Shrine, you will see a rather large building. This is Kaitakujinja, a pioneer shrine built in memory of the pioneers in the year marking the 70th anniversary of Hokkaido's development.
