Jozankei, Hokkaido - A hot spring hotel with first-class environment, dining and service: Mori no Uta

This time we chose the Tsuruga Leisure Hot Spring Resort Hotel #森之謌, which has excellent food. #鹤雅 is a hot spring hotel group in Hokkaido, with hotels in Lake Akan, Lake Shikotsu, Lake Toya, etc. Its characteristic is the hanging fireplace in the lobby. The Mori no Uta is designed with the element of "wood", making guests feel like they are walking into a forest. This time I stayed at Sen Zhi Ao for the buffet and booked the cheapest twin room, which included breakfast and dinner, and cost about NT$10,000 for two people. Both breakfast and dinner are buffet style. Although it is a buffet, the quality is very high-end and attentive. The seafood alone includes scallops, sweet shrimps, sashimi, crab horns, salmon roe, etc. The freshness and sweetness are far better than the Mori restaurant in Hoshino Resorts! Even the desserts are carefully prepared and are as exquisite as the restaurant's a la carte dishes. The furniture arrangement of Senzhiya is low-key and luxurious. In the public area, there is an open lounge that looks like a study room, equipped with a stereo and a recliner. I checked the brand of the recliner and found out that one costs hundreds of thousands! The speakers are even more exaggerated, costing millions each! It's really generous to open it to tenants for recreation. The sales area also displays whiskey from #Yu's Distillery, so buy a bottle first. The public hot spring is also a highlight of Mori no Uta, with indoor spa and outdoor open-air pool. Although there is no special scenery, the hot spring water quality is quite good and the skin is very smooth after soaking. In the dining area or public bar, you can occasionally see wild deer through the large floor-to-ceiling windows, which is a big surprise!
